I think, today is a great day, like the other days every time. It cause, I think every time is a great mercy from our God, Allah. But, there are special day or special month for me, like this month. Do you know why ? This month is the greatest month for all of Moeslem People, like me. Because this month, we can meet Ramadhan. And Do you know what does special about this month ? The special of this month is, we get an obligation to do Fast and in this month too, we can reach much God rewards for all our good deeds.
Cause the specially of this Month, I would to tell you about Ramadhan Fast Day and some Traditions what we do during Fast Day especially in my lovely town, Blora.
Usually, Blora's Moeslem Society catch Ramadhan with do many traditions, such as " Banca'an " and " Mapak Tanggal ".
" Mapak Tanggal " is one of many rituals, that Blora's Moeslem Society do to catch Ramadhan. It's do for give thanks to Allah , because He'll bring us to the Ramadhan. And Its do in days befor e we meet 1st day in Ramadhan Month.
In Ramadhan, we have many activities to do, like " Sholat Tarawih ", " Tadarus Al-Qur'an " , Break the Fast Together , Nuzulul Qur'an , " Lailatul Qodar " and etc.
" Sholat Tarawih " is special " Sholat ", that we just do it in Ramadhan. We pray to Allah after we do " Sholat Isya' " or Isya' Pray. Sholat Tarawih is consists of several Rakaat, and in general, Rakaat of Sholat Tarawih Consists of 8 or 20 rakaat. Usually, after we do Sholat Tarawih, we do " Sholat Witir " too. " Sholat Witir " in general consists of 3 rakaat.
Then, What is Tadarus Al-Qur'an ?
" Tadarus Al-Qur'an " is, we read The Holly Al-Qur'an and we try to complete read ( " Khatam " ) 30 Chapters of Holy Al-Qur'an. Usually we do it after we have finished Sholat Tarawih and Witir. But, the others people do it every time he wants.
Then,
Break the Fast Together, is like we eat together with our neighbours society. In this event too, usually we pray together, read Tahlil Pray and pray for people who have died.
Then,
Nuzulul Qur'an is the day when The Holy Al-Qur'an derived by Allah, to Prophet Muhammad with intermediary Jibril Angel ( " Gabriel Angel " ). This day coincides with the 17th day of Ramadan.
Then,
Lailatul Qodar is some nights when we can get doubled God Rewards as same as we pray 1000 months. This nights coincides in 10 last day in Ramadhan Month.
Basically, Ramadhan invite us to increase our good deeds and our worship to God, Allah.
